Because this help us with our annual planning. When you make your budget every month, you know what your income will be, so you know how much you can spend and save. We're in the same boat!! We have expenses every month that we have to meet, plus we'd like to put aside a little for a rainy day. We also have a mortgage loan that, like you, we have to pay off over time.
