First Holy Communion
Children must have made their First Reconciliation before they can make their First Holy Communion.

Children must currently be in or have completed the 2nd grade and be active in the St. James Faith Formation program for 1 full year prior to enrolling in the sacrament preparation program.

A special preparation session for this sacrament will be held throughout the year.

A copy of the candidate’s Baptism certificate must be presented at the time of sacrament registration.

Having become a child of God clothed with the wedding garment, the neophyte is admitted "to the marriage supper of the Lamb" and receives the food of the new life, the body and blood of Christ. (1244)
